All Inver Hills Community College EMS education programs meet or exceed the current U.S. Department of Transportation EMS Education Standards and the objectives of the previous  National Standard Curriculum.
FISDAP
Inver Hills Community College is the birthplace of FISDAP,  a national community of EMS educators and students.  With over 700 programs participating across the US this online network tracks and measures EMS student performance in didactic, skill lab, hospital and field internships.  FISDAP also provides Preceptor Training and Study Tools geared for success on cognitive state and national exams.
Our program receives Medical Direction from Regions Hospital EMS, part of a Level 1 trauma center.  Dr. Aaron Burnett is a frequent lecturer, skills instructor, mentor and facilitates our weekly patient case presentations.
